How the Bahujan is Being Misled by the Hindutva Bandwagon

The moolnivasi or the indigenous people of India comprise the Dalits or scheduled castes, the scheduled tribes, and the other backward castes. These three categories make up more than 70 percent of India’s population. However, in spite of comprising the overwhelming majority, the moolnivasi population is being ambushed by the Hindutva brigade in India, that comprises of upper caste Hindus, with a singular objective — to re-establish their domination over the Bahujan or the Moolnivasi.

The main goal of Hindutva is to establish the so-called Ram Rajya in India. And just what is this Ram Rajya? It is a rule of the savarnas or the upper caste where the bahujans or the lower castes are treated as servants of the upper caste Hindus. In this unequal pyramid, the Brahmin is perched on the top, followed by the Kshatriyas, and Vaishyas.

The bulk of this caste pyramid comprises of the lower caste Hindus also called the Bahujans or the Moonivasis.

You might be wondering how will the Hindutva brigade led by these upper caste savarna Hindus achieve their objective?

First, they unite the bahujans and the savarnas against their perceived common enemy, which is the Muslim. So, in the name of cattle theft and beef consumption, they kill, threaten, and abuse the helpless Muslim community that has no voice of its own or political backing to defend itself against the relentless onslaught of the Hindutva forces.

This unity among the bahujans and savarnas has been brought about by uniting them under a perceived common identity i.e., the Hindu. So, when it comes to targeting the Muslims or other religious minorities like Christians, all differences are forgotten and the only identity that matters is Hindu.

There is no talk of caste or class here. A false narrative is woven that the Hindu population, that forms about 80 percent of India’s total population, is under constant threat by Islam that comprises 12 percent of India’s population. No logic is offered that how 12 percent can threaten or dominate the majority population of 80 percent.

New theories like Love Jihad are constantly manufactured to make the Hindu fear the Muslim even more. This makes the differentiated Hindu population unite against their common enemy — Islam.

Once the Muslim has been dealt with, these savarnas then turn their attention to the weakest among the bahujans i.e. the dalit.

You might have read that there is constant rise in atrocities against the dalits. Dalit women are subjected to the worst form of sexual violence (aka Hathras) while the administration watches like a mute spectator.

Silently, previously reserved posts in government are de-reserved in the name of merit and efficiency. Reservation in promotions is slowly being dismantled with generous help from the judiciary.

Instead of protesting such measures, the Bahujan is celebrating his new found masculinity as a brutal Hindu who will not tolerate any perceived slight to his religion. The idea is to make the Bahujan think of religion and nothing else so that he never realizes his pitiable existence and the fact that he is slowly but surely getting dragged to the same life that his forefathers once experienced.

A life of subordination and humiliation.

With the Muslim relegated to second class citizenship and the Bahujan turned into a violent and ignorant slave who will do the bidding of his savarna masters, there is no one to challenge the monopolistic control of the country’s socio-economic resources by the savarnas.

An ideal Ram Rajya, one would say.

Since the Bahujan has been so blinded by the Hindutva ideology, he loses his ability to question the web of lies and deceit being woven around him by the caste Hindus.

He is happy to become a foot soldier of the Hindutva forces led by the Brahmin. But little does he know, that in his zeal to project his Hindutva credentials, he will end up losing the very freedom that leaders like BR Ambedkar, Jyotirao Phule, Periyar, etc. worked tirelessly to wrest from the British for the upliftment of the Bahujans.

The Brahmin led by the RSS have played their cards well. True to form, they are shooting by placing the rifle on the shoulders of the Bahujans while they direct the latter’s actions through 24X7 propaganda on mass media and social media.

The Bahujan kills and maims in the name of Ram, while the Brahmin who weaves the ideology of hate goes scot free.

A pitiable situation indeed. Hey Ram!
